วันนี้ (26 กันยายน 2562) Google ได้จัดงาน Google Cloud Summit ขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่ 2 ในประเทศไทย ณ รอยัล พารากอน ฮอลล์ ศูนย์การค้าสยามพารากอน โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อช่วยให้องค์กรธุรกิจในประเทศไทยได้รับประโยชน์จากระบบคลาวด์มากขึ้น Google Cloud Summit ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่การประชุมสุดยอดด้านคลาวด์เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการรวมตัวกันขององค์กรธุรกิจชั้นนำและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านระบบคลาวด์ ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการสนทนา การสร้างความร่วมมือ และการแก้ไขปัญหาต่างๆ พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้ลูกค้าของ Google Cloud ได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ระหว่างกันและเรียนรู้จากผู้เชี่ยวชาญเกี่ยวกับการพลิกโฉมธุรกิจด้วยระบบคลาวด์ นอกจากนี้ยังช่วยให้ Google เข้าใจความต้องการของธุรกิจไทยได้ดียิ่งขึ้นและได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเรื่องราวความสำเร็จของลูกค้าของเรา

Helping enterprises in Thailand transform their businesses in the cloud


To help more enterprises in Thailand take advantage of the cloud, we held our second annual Bangkok Cloud Summit today at the Siam Paragon. More of a community gathering than a conference, Cloud Summits are where conversations start, partnerships form and problems are solved; and where customers convene to learn from their peers and experts about how the cloud is transforming business. It’s also our opportunity to better understand the needs of Thai businesses, and to get inspired by our customers’ success stories.

Customers demonstrate the full breadth of Google Cloud’s technology capabilities

When I speak to customers every day, our discussions about cloud have evolved beyond economies of scale and efficiencies. While those are still very relevant reasons for adopting cloud technologies, Thai enterprises are looking to Google Cloud to help them drive digital transformation, identify new revenue generating business models, reach previously untapped consumer markets, and build customer loyalty through greater insight and personalization.

Presenting on the Cloud Summit keynote mainstage were Kasikorn Business-Technology Group (KBTG), True Digital and PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited. And each one really articulated the role that cloud plays in helping not only scale their business, but generate new insights that in turn help drive better customer service. KBTG for example is using Google Kubernetes Engine and Firebase as the backbone of their messaging platform and improve their customers’ mobile banking experience.

Customers also tell us that they want choice and flexibility, and openness continues to be a major differentiator for Google Cloud. Since we announced Anthos, our hybrid, multi-cloud solution at Next ‘19, customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. That’s because Anthos embraces open standards, and lets customers run their applications, unmodified, on existing on-prem hardware investments or in the public cloud.

Thailand is a digital powerhouse and an important market for Google Cloud in Southeast Asia. We have seen first hand the incredible progress that’s possible when companies and countries embrace a cloud-first future. As Thailand continues to breed world-beating companies that are scaling their business with cloud technology, we’re honored to be part of their digital transformation journey.
