ท่องไปในอารยธรรมโบราณของเปรู: มาชูปิกชู (Machu Picchu)

เหนือขึ้นไปบนหุบเขาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ท่ามกลางสายหมอกที่ปกคลุมยอดเขา สถานที่แห่งอารยธรรมโบราณของจักรวรรดิอินคาถูกซุกซ่อนอยู่ “มาชูปิกชู” โบราณสถานสำคัญที่บอกเล่าจิตวิญญาณแห่งอารยธรรมที่มีชื่อเสียงมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งได้รับการยกย่องจาก องค์การยูเนสโก ให้เป็น 1 ใน 7 สิ่งมหัศจรรย์ของโลก และด้วยความร่วมมือจาก กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมของเปรู ทำให้คนทั่วโลกมีโอกาสได้เดินทางไปเที่ยวชมมาชูปิกชูได้ทุกซอกทุกมุมผ่าน Google แผนที่ ทั้งพระราชวัง วิหาร และลานศักดิ๋สิทธิ์ต่างๆ ที่ยังคงสภาพสมบูรณ์มาตั้งแต่สมัยศตวรรษที่ 15

เหนือขึ้นไปจากระดับน้ำทะเลที่ความสูง 2,400 เมตร บริเวณจุดชมวิวบน วิหารศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งมาชูปิกชู เผยให้เห็นมุมมองอันงดงามของร่องรอยทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่ทรงคุณค่าแห่งจักรวรรดิอินคา โครงสร้างที่ยังคงซ่อนปริศนาใต้ซากก้อนหินขนาดมหึมาที่เรียงทับกันโดยไม่ผ่านการฉาบด้วยปูนหรือปราศจากวิธีการก่อสร้างที่ทันสมัย แต่โครงสร้างของ กำแพง ระเบียงและขั้นบันไดที่ทอดยาวไล่เรียงตามเชิงเขา ยังคงเผยให้เห็นความมั่นคงแข็งแรงกลมกลืนกับโครงสร้างทางธรรมชาติได้อย่างน่าประหลาด

วิหารศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งมาชูปิกชู, ประเทศเปรู
หากคุณได้มายืนอยู่บริเวณ วิหารใหญ่ สถานที่ที่ตั้งอยู่บนจุดสูงสุดของเมือง แหล่งรวมจิตวิญญาณของอารยธรรม คุณจะมีโอกาสได้ย้อนเข้าไปในยุคประวัติศาสตร์ เสมือนว่ามีชาวอินคากำลังเดินเท้าเข้ามาบริเวณป้อมปราการนี้ พร้อมสัมผัสถึงพลังของชนเผ่าที่แผ่กระจายอยู่ทั่วบริเวณที่คุณยืนอยู่ และหากคุณได้เที่ยวชมบริเวณ ลานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ คุณจะได้สัมผัสถึงพื้นที่ที่เปรียบเสมือนเป็นท้องพระโรงหรือปรัมพิธี สถานที่ที่ชาวอินคาใช้ประกอบพิธีกรรมต่างๆ ทั้ง งานฉลองสิริราชสมบัติ รวมไปถึงประกอบพิธีกรรมทางศาสนา

ลานประกอบพิธีกรรมแห่งมาชูปิกชู
ในจุดที่เหนือขึ้นไปจากวิหารเล็กน้อย คุณจะพบ ลาน Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku) สถานที่ที่เปรียบเสมือนปราการหน้าด่านของมาชูปิกชู เป็นเขตของวิหารศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่ชาวอินคาสร้างขึ้นเพื่ออุทิศแด่สุริยเทพ และยังเป็นทางผ่านของพระอาทิตย์แสงแรก ก่อนที่จะทอดแสงยาวเข้าไปยังบริเวณที่เหลือของป้อมปราการ

Walk the ruins of Peru's most historic site: Machu Picchu
Above the sacred valley and atop the mist of the mountains, the most historic site of the Inca Empire awaits your discovery. Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World , is one of the most famous, mythical and spiritual sites in the world. Now for the first time, in partnership with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, people across the globe can go on a journey to Machu Picchu directly in Google Maps, uncovering its palaces, temples and plazas that have remained intact since the 15th century.

Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, Peru
Standing in the Templo Principal , you can imagine how many men have stood at this central gathering place before you. Located at the highest position of the city, this site holds great spiritual meaning to the Citadel and it radiates with energy beneath your feet. And touring the vast Plaza Principal allows you to virtually touch one of the most sacred ceremonial grounds on the site, as it once hosted social and religious celebrations for the Inca.

The Main Plaza of Machu Picchu
Ascending even further above the sanctuary, the Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku) stands. This location was once the main entrance to Machu Picchu and is dedicated to the cult of the Inti, the Sun god, as the sun would hit this sacred space before touching the rest of the Citadel.
