Google Arts & Culture ร่วมอนุรักษ์ภาพยนตร์ไทย

เรารู้ว่าภาพยนตร์มีอิทธิพลและความสำคัญอย่างไร ภาพยนตร์ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่ความบันเทิง แต่ยังเป็นศิลปะอีกแขนงหนึ่ง และเราสามารถเรียนรู้สิ่งต่างๆ ได้มากมายจากภาพยนตร์ ด้วยเหตุนี้ Google Arts & Culture จึงได้ร่วมมือกับหอภาพยนตร์ ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานที่ทำหน้าที่อนุรักษ์มรดกภาพยนตร์ไทย รวมทั้งส่งเสริมและเผยแพร่ภาพยนตร์ในฐานะสื่อการเรียนรู้ โดยหอภาพยนตร์ได้รับการรับรองสถานะเป็นองค์การมหาชนในปี พ.ศ. 2552 https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uAqArwYojHY/XT-8-mdd7AI/AAAAAAAAB9o/q8vGkMZN93UL6Hex1n-qyX_HOlDe7igeACLcBGAs/s320/Zeiss%2BIkon%2B8mm%2BFilm%2BProjector.jpg Google Arts & Culture

ด้วยความร่วมมือนี้ผู้คนสามารถรับชมนิทรรศการต่างๆ ผ่านทางแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ อาทิ นิทรรศการ Diary of Siamese Cinema ซึ่งแสดงผลงานของ แท้ ประกาศวุฒิสาร (เสียชีวิตในปี พ.ศ. 2561 ในวัย 100 ปี) ผู้กำกับภาพ ช่างภาพ ผู้อำนวยการสร้าง และผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์ ซึ่งถือเป็นผู้บุกเบิกวงการภาพยนตร์คนสำคัญคนหนึ่งของไทย โดยนิทรรศการดังกล่าวจัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับประวัติศาสตร์ภาพยนตร์ไทยและนักแสดงไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดในช่วงกลางศตวรรษที่ 20

นอกจากนี้ยังได้รวบรวมคอลเลคชันเครื่องแต่งกายจากภาพยนตร์ไทยในอดีตที่น่าสนใจ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าการออกแบบเครื่องแต่งกายเป็นส่วนสำคัญของตัวละครและภาพยนตร์อย่างไร
ภาพยนตร์มีมนต์เสน่ห์ที่น่าสนใจเป็นอย่างมาก และเราหวังว่าความร่วมมือที่สำคัญนี้จะช่วยให้ผู้คนได้สัมผัสกับมนต์เสน่ห์ของภาพยนตร์ในรูปแบบต่างๆ กันได้มากขึ้น ซึ่งสามารถเข้าถึงได้ง่ายๆ ทุกที่ทุกเวลาทาง Google Arts & Culture

Keeping the Movie Magic Alive
We know how influential and important cinema is. It truly is not just entertainment--it’s an art form, and one we can learn so much from. Which is why Google Arts & Culture is thrilled to partner with the Thai Film Archive, an agency responsible for preserving Thai film heritage and promoting cinema as an educational tool. The archive has been granted the status of Public Organisation in 2009.

Through this partnership, people can experience exhibits such as the Diary of Siamese Cinema, which shows the work of Thae Prakasvudhisarn (who passed away in 2018 at the age of 100), a cinematographer, photographer, producer and director, one of the pioneers in Thai film history. The exhibit presents the most famous Thai actresses and actors of the mid-century period and shows an introduction to the history of Thai cinematography.

One can also explore a fascinating collection of Thai film costumes through the years which shows how costume design is an integral part of the character and the film.
