นับตั้งแต่การเปิดตัวของแอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids ในปี พ.ศ. 2558 ทีมงาน YouTube Kids ซึ่งหลายๆ คนเองก็เป็นพ่อแม่ผู้ปกครอง ได้ทุ่มเทอย่างเต็มที่เพื่อพัฒนาฟีเจอร์ใหม่ๆ สำหรับพ่อแม่ผู้ปกครองและเด็กๆ พร้อมทั้งนำการแสดงความคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะของผู้ใช้งานมาปรับปรุงแอปพลิเคชันให้ดียิ่งขึ้น แอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids เป็นอีกหนึ่งความภาคภูมิใจของ YouTube โดยเราเชื่อว่าแอปฯ นี้จะเป็นอีกหนึ่งช่องทางดีๆ ที่ให้เด็กๆ ได้สำรวจความรู้ที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับสิ่งใหม่ๆ และได้รับความบันเทิง และวันนี้เราได้นำแอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids มาให้บริการในไทยแล้ว โดยสามารถดาวน์โหลดได้ฟรีที่ Google Play และ App Store  

แอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids เป็นอีกหนึ่งเวอร์ชันของ YouTube ที่ถูกพัฒนาให้เหมาะสำหรับผู้ใช้กลุ่มครอบครัวมากขึ้น เพื่อเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ที่ตอบสนองความอยากรู้อยากเห็นของเด็กๆ และช่วยเสริมสร้างจินตนาการของพวกเขา โดยสามารถค้นหาวิดีโอที่ตรงกับความสนใจของสมาชิกในครอบครัว อาทิ วิดีโอ Baby Shark โดย Pinkfong เนื้อหาที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่เป็นภาษาไทยสำหรับคนไทย การ์ตูนแอนิเมชัน Pororo the Little Penguin โดย ICONIX ที่สอดแทรกคุณธรรมสำหรับเด็กๆ การ์ตูนโปเกมอนบนช่อง Pokemon Thailand Official หรือเพลงสำหรับเด็กที่ช่อง KidsMeSong  และ KidsOnCloud

จุดเด่นและฟีเจอร์หลักของแอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids ได้แก่

  • ดีไซน์และตัวละครใหม่ๆ: แอปพลิเคชัน YouTube Kids ถูกพัฒนาให้มีสีสันสดใสมากขึ้น และมีตัวละครใหม่ๆ เพิ่มเข้ามา เพื่อนำเสนอความมหัศจรรย์ของ YouTube ให้กับเด็กๆ

YouTube Kids arrives in Thailand
A world of family-friendly videos to explore, created for children and the child in you

Since we first introduced YouTube Kids in 2015, the YouTube Kids team, many of whom are parents themselves, have worked hard to add features for both parents and kids , as well as made improvements based on feedback from our community. An experience, and an app, that we’re proud of and one we believe gives kids the opportunity to explore their endless curiosities, learn about new topics, and be entertained. We’re pleased to bring it to families in Thailand today, and it’s now available to download for free on Google Play and the App Store.




We’ve built the YouTube Kids app to be a more family-friendly version of YouTube, a place for kids to explore their imagination and curiosity. Search for videos of particular interest to your family, like Pinkfong and Baby Shark went around the beautiful city of Bangkok in Thailand! Checking out the historic spots, temples and even Khao San Road was so exciting.  Learning practical and moral lesson with Pororo the Little  Penguin the anime TV series by ICONIX. Watch your favourite Pokemon anime series at Pokemon Thailand Official, and enjoy the nursery rhyme in which is a traditional Thai songs for kids at KidsMeSong and KidsOnCloud.

Here are some key features of the app:

  • New Design and Characters: The app now features more color and characters who exemplify the magic of YouTube. From water bottle flip guy to the sprinkle toast character, kids can now find even more characters to love in the app
  • Collections by trusted partners and YouTube Kids: Our partners and the YouTube Kids team offer collections of trusted channels on a variety of subjects from arts & crafts and music to sports, learning, and so much more. This makes it easy for parents to select only the channel collections and topics they want their kids to access. Just go into Profile Settings, and select from available collections such as Sesame Workshop and Thai PBS Kids.
  • Huge content library: We’ve created a unique experience that brings an unparalleled library of content from all over the world to families. An experience, and an app, that we’re proud of and one we believe gives kids the opportunity to explore their endless curiosities, learn about new topics, and be entertained.
  • Parental Control: Parental control is the utmost focus of our team and we work hard to empower parents with parental control features to decide the most appropriate YouTube Kids experience for their families.
- Improved search-off control for an even more contained experience: Parents have always been able to turn search off within the YouTube Kids app, but starting this week turning search off will limit the YouTube Kids experience to channels that have been verified by the YouTube Kids team. This means that search off will not include recommendations from the broader YouTube Kids corpus.
- Timer: Let the app be the bad guy with a built-in timer that lets you limit kids’ screen time. The app alerts your child when the session is over, so you don’t have to. (You’re welcome. ;) )
- Kid Profiles: Parents can create profiles for each of their kids! Kids will enjoy having individual profiles with their videos and recommendations in one place. This is especially handy on a shared device that multiple kids use.
- Custom Passcode for Kids: Kids want independence so we now let them set a personal passcode to get into their profile. They can keep little brother or sister out :) but parents can always override their passcode to get into the app!
- Parent Approved Mode: We recently launched parent-approved content. This highly requested parental control allows parents to handpick every video and channel available to their child in the app. It is available today globally on Android and coming soon to iOS.

We also want parents to spend time discovering the world of YouTube Kids with their children and have a wonderful family time. You can now watch YouTube Kids and have wonderful family time on the big screen! Now YouTube Kids is available on your TV, using Chromecast, Apple TV, game consoles or a smart TV. This is one of the steps we take to nurture the next generation of Thai talents by offering a family-friendly environment for them to learn, discover, and be entertained.
