Google Play Newsstand คือ แอพพลิเคชั่นที่จะนำเรื่องราวจากสื่อต่างๆ ที่นำเสนอผ่านช่องทางออนไลน์ อาทิ หนังสือพิมพ์ เว็บไซต์ บล็อก นิตยสารและหนังสือต่างๆ มาสู่สายตาคุณด้วยประสบการณ์การอ่านที่เรียบง่ายไม่ซับซ้อน  คุณจะอ่านพาดหัวข่าวล่าสุดจากสื่อชั้นนำต่างๆ เช่น เนชั่นทีวี หรือติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองจาก Kapook หรือ อัพเดทผลการแข่งกีฬาล่าสุดจากสยามกีฬา ได้จากแท็บเเล็ตหรือโทรศัพท์ระบบ Android ของคุณ เพียงแค่ปัดนิ้วบนหน้าจอรายละเอียดทั้งหมดของข่าวหรือบทความนั้นก็จะปรากฎสู่สายตาคุณ โดยในแอพพ์จะมาครบทั้งภาพประกอบ เสียงหรือวิดีโอของข่าวนั้นๆ
