Google เผยชุดภาพ Street View นครเวียงจันทน์เป็นครั้งเเรก

พบกับภาพมุมมองท้องถนนเเบบ 360 องศา เผยมนต์เสน่ห์แหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญในเมืองหลวงของลาว 

ผ่าน Google Maps สำหรับคนท้องถิ่นเเละนักท่องเที่ยว

เวียงจันทน์, 14 กรกฎาคม 2558: ด้วยการสนับสนุนจากกระทรวงไปรษณีย์และโทรคมนาคม แห่ง สปป.ลาว วันนี้ชุดภาพ Street View ใหม่ของประเทศลาวพร้อมให้พี่น้องชาวลาวเเละคนทั่วโลกได้ทำการสำรวจภาพถ่ายมุมมองท้องถนนเเบบ 360 องศาของเมืองหลวง ประเทศลาวได้เเล้วผ่าน Google Maps

ในพื้นที่ที่ Street View พร้อมใช้งาน ผู้ใช้สามารถเปิดชมภาพ Street View ได้โดยลากไอคอนตุ๊กตา "Pegman" สีส้มทางด้านซ้ายของแผนที่ ไปยังถนนที่เป็นเส้นไฮไลต์สีฟ้า โดย Google Maps ใหม่ยังให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถค้นหาสถานที่ต่างๆ ที่รองรับการใช้งาน โดยเข้าถึงภาพ Street View ได้จากตัวหมุนภาพที่อยู่บริเวณด้านล่างของหน้าจอ

คนท้องถิ่นสามารถชมภาพถ่ายแบบพาโนรามา 360 องศา เพื่อตรวจสอบบริเวณหน้าร้านค้าก่อนเดินทางไปถึงได้ ด้วยการวางเส้นทางที่จะใช้เดินทาง กำหนดจุดนัดพบ หรือรับรู้เส้นทางและพื้นที่ต่างๆ ในเมืองของพวกเขาได้ดียิ่งขึ้น ผู้ประกอบการชาวลาวสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยี Street View โดยการฝัง Google Maps ในเว็บไซต์ของพวกเขาได้โดยตรง ยกตัวอย่าง เช่น โรงแรมต่างๆ สามารถแสดงให้แขกเห็นรูปร่างตึกของโรงแรมที่อยู่บนถนน รวมถึงแสดงพื้นที่โดยรอบบริเวณโรงแรมได้อีกด้วย นักท่องเที่ยวที่เดินทางมาที่ประเทศลาวสามารถใช้ Street View เพื่อวางแผนการพักผ่อน หรือสำรวจเมืองหลวงของประเทศลาวก่อนที่จะเดินทางมาได้

นาย Phoukong Chithooplok อธิบดีกรมความร่วมมือและวางแผน กระทรวงไปรษณีย์และโทรคมนาคม แห่ง สปป.ลาว  กล่าวว่า “เรารู้สึกตื่นเต้นเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ที่ได้เห็นโครงการ Street View ในประเทศลาวดำเนินตามขั้นตอนจนบรรลุผลอย่างที่ตั้งใจ ทั้งภาพความงดงามของเมืองหลวง - รวมถึงอนุสาวรีย์ประตูชัยที่มีชื่อเสียง - พร้อมเผยเเพร่สู่สายตาสาธารณชนผ่าน Google Maps ปัจจุบันพี่น้องชาวลาวและคนทั่วโลกสามารถใช้ Google Maps เเละ Street View ช่วยวางแผนการเดินทางไปยังสถานที่ต่างๆ ได้ทั่วประเทศเรา ล่าสุดผู้คนยังสามารถเยี่ยมชมนครเวียงจันทน์ในแบบเสมือนจริงได้จากพื้นที่ต่างๆ  ของประเทศ เพียงเชื่อมต่อกับอินเทอร์เน็ต โครงการ StreetView มอบโอกาสให้ลาวเป็นที่รู้จักมากขึ้นเเก่คนทั่วโลก เเละนี่ยังเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ดีของการพัฒนาประเทศ ในฐานะที่ลาวจะเป็นประธานอาเซียนในปี 2016”

Google มีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะปกป้องความเป็นส่วนตัวใน Google Maps กับ Street View อย่างเต็มที่และเข้มงวดโดยไม่ลดคุณประโยชน์ที่ผู้ใช้ได้รับจากฟีเจอร์นี้ Google จึงได้พัฒนาเทคโนโลยีชั้นสูง ที่สามารถทำภาพเบลอที่ใบหน้าของบุคคลและป้ายทะเบียนรถยนต์เพื่อไม่ระบุรายละเอียดส่วนตัวใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น นอกจากนี้ Google ยังให้การตอบสนองอย่างฉับไวและรวดเร็วต่อทุกคำร้องที่ได้รับจากผู้ใช้เพื่อทำภาพเบลอเพิ่มเติม

นาย Alex Long ผู้จัดการประจำประเทศฝ่ายนโยบายภาครัฐ Google Asia Pacific กล่าวว่า “เราหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าภาพชุด Street View ที่เปิดตัวแล้วที่เวียงจันทน์นี้จะช่วยเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้คนทั่วโลกได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์ใหม่กับประเทศลาว ทั้งยังช่วยสร้างการรับรู้ที่ดีขึ้นต่อประเทศและดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวอีกด้วย”

Google unveils first Street View imagery of Vientiane

360˚ views of streets top attractions in Laos’ capital city are now available on Google Maps for locals and tourists alike

Vientiane, 14 July 2015: Today, with the support of the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications of the Lao PDR, Google announced that new Street View imagery of Laos is now live on Google Maps. This imagery allows users in Laos and around the world to view and navigate 360-degree street-level imagery of the country’s capital city.

In areas where Street View is available, street-level imagery can be accessed by dragging the orange "Pegman" icon on the right-hand side of the map onto a blue highlighted street. In the new Google Maps, people can also search for local destinations and where available, access Street View imagery from the imagery carousel that sits at the bottom of the screen.

Locals can use the 360˚ panoramas to check out a shop fronts before arriving, figure out driving directions, arrange meeting points, or get to know their own town better. Lao businesses can also benefit from Street View technology by embedding Google Maps directly into their site. Hotels, for example, can easily show their guests what the building looks like on the street and also a sense of the surrounding neighborhood. Travelers to Laos can also use Street View to plan their vacations or virtually explore the country’s capital city before arriving.

Mr. Phoukong Chithooplok, Director General of the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications Department of Cooperation and Planning said, "We’re very excited to see this phase of the Street View project in Laos come to fruition, with imagery of the capital city — including the famous Patuxai Monument — to be published on Google Maps.  Now, people in Laos and around the world can use Google Maps and Street View to help them plan their journeys around our country.  Within Laos, people will be able to virtually visit Vientiane from any other part of the country, with just an internet connection.  The Street View project gives us a chance to increase the profile of Laos around the world.  This is a well-timed development, as Laos will chair ASEAN in 2016. ”

Google has developed highly sophisticated technology that effectively blurs human faces and license plates of vehicles to render them unidentifiable.
